I desire to capture the moments which make up each of our lives - especially the happy ones - by creating handmade greeting cards. With friends and family who live all over the country and the world, I made up my mind one day that I would never buy another manufactured greeting card ever again, but would instead create cards from my own imagination. In today's super-efficient technology age, I feel it is truly a rare treasure to receive a handmade greeting card in your mailbox.

I so much enjoy the process of making handmade cards because I'm free to make a collage of anything in the world that I think matches the personality of my recipient. I try to keep my technique simple by working with basic materials, because I feel that stimulates the imagination best. However, there are also times when someone designs an image or embellishment that is just "too perfect" for me to pass up, so I will incorporate it into my designs.

There are celebrations and major events every single day that I want to cherish or memorialize by making cards. I feel so blessed to be doing something which I enjoy so much. Our lives are gifts, that are meant to be celebrated and commemorated. I hope you might be inspired by my simple dream to encourage more personal expression between friends and family, and the world beyond.
